Our Mission
Antioch Friends of Seniors was established in March of 2024 as a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation by a group of concerned seniors at the Antioch Senior Center. We work in conjunction with Antioch Department of Parks and Recreation, specifically the Antioch Senior Center and its more than 600 registered seniors. Our goals are to provide more activities for Seniors that will help develop both physical and mental health, community fellowship and a safe and healthy place for them to gather and enjoy their golden years.

The mission of the Antioch Friends of Seniors (FRIENDS) is to promote the general well-being of older persons and to enhance important services to the members of the Antioch Senior Center.
As a member of the Antioch Senior Center, you are also a member of the Antioch Friends of Seniors.
FRIENDS will be supporting many special events during the year and working to help reduce the cost of Senior outings.
If you have any questions or suggestions for FRIENDS, please contact any of the Board members or use the suggestion boxes at the Center.

Our current activities include:
- We sponsor and operate the Thursday BINGO as one of our major fund-raising events.
- Subsidize Senior trips to make them more affordable for all seniors.
- We sponsor several Senior events at the Senior Center during the year
