Our Mission
Antioch Friends of Seniors was established in March of 2024 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation by a group of concerned seniors at the Antioch Senior Center. We collaborate with the Antioch Department of Parks and Recreation, focusing on the Antioch Senior Center and its community of over 600 registered seniors. Our objectives include enhancing senior activities that promote both physical and mental health, fostering community fellowship, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for seniors to gather and enjoy their golden years.

Our Mission
The mission of the Antioch Friends of Seniors (FRIENDS) is to promote the general well-being of older persons and enhance important services for members of the Antioch Senior Center. As a member of the Antioch Senior Center, you automatically belong to the Antioch Friends of Seniors. FRIENDS will support many special events throughout the year and work to help reduce the costs associated with senior activities and outings. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding senior community support, please reach out to any of the Board members or use the suggestion boxes available at the Center.

Our current activities at the Antioch Senior Center include: We sponsor and operate the Thursday BINGO, which is one of our major fund-raising events to support senior community activities. Additionally, we subsidize senior trips to make them more affordable for all seniors. Throughout the year, we also sponsor several senior activities at the Senior Center.
